New Clinical Staff in New Jersey
RIDGEWOOD, NJ – March 8, 2010 – The Renfrew Center, the nation’s first eating disorder facility and largest treatment network since 1985, is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Mehaffey, MA, MS, LPC, Primary Therapist for The Renfrew Center of New Jersey, located on 174 Union Street in Ridgewood. This facility has recently doubled in size in order to accommodate its growing patient population.

The addition of Mr. Mehaffey will provide us with the expertise and experience that is important in providing quality, personalized care to every patient as The Renfrew Center continues to grow.”
Prior to joining The Renfrew Center, Mehaffey was the Associate Director of the Eating Disorders Program at Somerset Medical Center. Before taking that position, he was the Director of Behavioral Health Services for Somerset. Mehaffey has had a private practice in Somerville, New Jersey for seven years.
A graduate of Kean College in Union, New Jersey, Mehaffey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology. He has also received a Master of Arts in the field of Forensic Psychology from the City University of New York’s John Jay College of Criminal Justice, as well as a Master of Science in Health Policy Management from New York University. With regards to industry involvement, Mehaffey plays an active role in the mental health field. He currently is a Mental Health Specialist for the Emergency Response Team in the Somerset County Prosecutors Office, from which he has received a 20-year Service Award. Mehaffey currently resides in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
