Radnor Outpatient Groups
Adolescent Eating Disorders Group
Adolescent girls struggling to overcome anorexia, bulimia or other disordered eating patterns involving binge eating or restricting can benefit from this weekly group. Led by experienced therapists, the sessions provide a safe, sympathetic atmosphere where group members explore what triggers their eating disorders as well as issues concerning body image, relationships, school, work and home.
Young Adult/College Age Eating Disorder Group
The Young Adult/College Age Group is a weekly group designed to meet the needs of young adults dealing with or recovering from an eating disorder. Led by an experienced psychotherapist, the group provides a sympathetic and safe atmosphere where group members explore what triggers their eating disorders as well as issues concerning relationships and family, and problems they are having with school, work and home.
Thirty-Something and Beyond Group
The Thirty-Something And Beyond group offers women 30 and above struggling with nutrition, wellness, relationships, exercise and self-nurturance issues the opportunity to join in a community of their peers. Led by experienced therapists, the sessions provide a safe, sympathetic atmosphere where women in midlife faced with new stresses such as marital discord, divorce, ‘empty-nest syndrome,’ chronic illness or career changes come together to explore what triggers their eating disorders.
Emotional Eating Group
A weekly group that helps women overcome compulsive overeating and make positive lifestyle changes. The group focuses on the needs of the participants and may include looking deeper at culture, family and self within a sympathetic and safe atmosphere.
