What is an eating disorder?
Eating disorders are serious health- and life-threatening physical
disorders that usually stem from some underlying emotional cause.
They usually fall into three categories: Anorexia
Nervosa, or self-imposed starvation; Bulimia
Nervosa, the repeated cycle of out-of-control eating followed
by some form of purging; and Binge
Eating Disorder, or compulsive overeating.
